The two-bedroom suite works perfectly for trips with my daughter, and we liked the decor and the unusually large fridge and freezer. Getting in with the door code was simple, and we felt safe in Kanab. We first stopped here between Phoenix and Salt Lake, liked it enough to return on the way home, and now plan to stay on our drive every 3-4 months. We tried different two-bedroom rooms each time, so the photos show both.

We came back for a second stay during the same week of our road trip to Scottsdale. The rooms are neat and simply but nicely decorated, and having a microwave and fridge was handy. Keyless check-in made things easy, and it’s a good value within an easy walk of town. The bathroom looks great, though the shower’s half door means water can get onto anything left on the floor.

The heater and road noise were a bit loud, and we could have used another towel and washcloth, so we borrowed a pool towel. Still, we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the bed and fridge were good, and the bathroom was nice aside from grout needed between the floor tiles. I liked the shampoo and soap, plus little extras like the sound machine, dimmable light, and hooks.

The bed was comfortable, and I liked the smart TV and the updated, trendy bathroom. It was a really cute, clean and comfortable stop on my road trip. I had no trouble getting in with the keypad, and not having staff around wasn’t an issue for me. I’d happily stay again.

I was only passing through Kanab and couldn’t stay this time, but I’m glad I tried this motel. It’s dog friendly and had bowls for dogs, and the self check-in was very easy. The owners were also easy to reach by text. The renovation looks great, the design has a nice feel, and the beds were comfortable. Rocking V is within walking distance for dinner.
