For the price, this is a good deal if you’re passing through or here for outdoor activities. The location is excellent and it’s very affordable. The facilities and public areas, including the hallways, are a bit old, but the mattress is really comfortable and the bedding is clean. The AC is noisy but cools well. The bathroom is roomy with great water temperature, and the in-room microwave is handy. The fridge is old, but works fine.

It was a quiet stay in this one-level place, with no noise from above. The beds were just okay, not the best, and you can feel the springs. The bathroom was clean and nice, stocked with toiletries and plenty of towels. Breakfast was waffles, cereal, toast, oatmeal, juice, and coffee.

After an 11-hour drive I was exhausted and just wanted to lie down. I arrived at 1:30, and the front desk guy immediately told me check-in was at 3. He insisted there was nothing he’d do until then and that I’d have to sleep in my car. I know there were rooms ready, but he made no effort to help. I went up the street to the Quality Inn and got a room right away.

The bathroom was clean, and our room at least seems to have had a recent update. The window-mounted HVAC was a bit loud, but the weather was just right, so we didn’t need to use it.

Kanab is a really nice little town. I loved its free hiking trails and city museums. The hotel itself was a good stay for the money. The front desk gentleman was very good. Getting in early was tough, but the room was clean, with remodeled bathrooms, decent internet, and hot water. It got noisy at times, though that’s to be expected.
