I've been bringing our club here for years for a major volleyball event at the convention center, and the location is super convenient. The staff are always welcoming and amazing. Jessica Smith deserves a big shout-out for organizing all our rooms so professionally. Getting everyone checked in went extremely smoothly. We look forward to this trip every year and are really grateful for the hospitality. We'll be back!

The lobby and restaurant were inviting and clean, and the staff were friendly. Our king room was a nice size with a view over downtown, though it was only mostly clean. You could see the rooms were old and due for an upgrade: some fixtures were outdated, and the walls had stains and imprints. We checked in early, picked up our key, then headed to the garage. It was freezing, and the walk from the car to the elevator felt endless. An average stay overall.

The location is very convenient, and our room was clean with a good view. The hallway felt a bit old-fashioned, and the hotel itself was okay, though a little overpriced for what it offers. There's a fitness room with a treadmill and bicycle, and the pool was closed because of the weather. We had a good stay, but I wouldn't call it the best. Parking costs $30 separately, and breakfast is also paid for at the property.

What a welcoming hotel. The coffee shop is fantastic, and I loved the grab-and-go area with all its great choices. The rooftop pool is perfect in summer, and Power & Light is so close. If you can get a look at the downtown skyline from the rooftop ballroom, do it. Those are hands-down the best views in Kansas City. Thanks, Crowne Plaza, for a great stay.

The Rail restaurant in the hotel served great food. The shrimp quesadillas were full of flavor, and the mocktails were fantastic too. Service was even better, with Kelsey being an absolute rockstar.
