Hale Napili

Island Vibes cafe is just a two-minute walk away for breakfast and lunch, and we've managed without a rental car. A seven-minute public bus ride gets you to Island Center Market, where they have fresh poke to take away each day. The Napili Bay setting feels like a 1950s movie, with no high-rises in sight, and the elevated front lawn gives you privacy and great ocean views. Stairs lead down to the beach. Hale Napili is a small, 18-unit condo resort. The grounds, facility, and staff service feel like a Ritz or Four Seasons, while the place itself stays intimate. Jamie, a third-generation member of the team, manages it with huge Hawaiian aloha. It's a lovely spot to relax and unwind, with fantastic sunsets. We've stayed three years in a row and still count ourselves as newbies. Some of our neighbors have been coming for 15 years or more, which says a lot. Highly recommend.

There are restaurants, snack stands, and a market within walking distance, and we had a great time snorkeling, swimming, relaxing, eating in our units, and using the BBQs. Our family of nine rented three rooms over Thanksgiving: three couples and our grandsons, who were 16, 14, and 9. This was our third visit, and we all had a fabulous time. We'll come back to relax in paradise again. Highly recommend staying here.

There aren't many restaurant choices nearby, which makes it a good chance to cook. The staff and service were great, and the facilities were complete, except for the pool. It's a bit far from the airport, but the nearly hour-and-a-half drive back wasn't bad. The road was quite empty coming from the north. We'll return, and we'll definitely rent a car next time.

The staff at Hale Napili are wonderful, responsive, kind, and always willing to go above and beyond. This place has meant a lot to me over the years because my family spent many vacations here. An ocean-view room looks right over Napili Bay, and the sound of the waves at night will lull you to sleep. From the patio, it's maybe 15 feet to the beach. Hale Napili sits right in the middle of it, so it's an easy walk to Sea House or The Gazebo for a meal.
