The staff are a big part of why this place feels so special. Joe, Lorraine and Mel always help make it wonderful, and the views and amenities are great too. My family has been coming for over 40 years, and it really does feel like home away from home. I was even given my middle name after Napili Kai. We just returned from another trip and it was as perfect as ever. Love you, Napili Kai!

We came in the off season, so it was quieter and felt very family friendly. The beach is just steps away, with another bay a short walk from there. The room had cookware, a coffee machine, dishes, plus a soft cooler and shopping bag for groceries. We ended up buying our own cooler after landing at Walmart for future trips. There are walking paths and easy hiking nearby too.

The beach and bay are beautiful, and you can get right to them from this low-rise resort. It seems geared more toward families, with lots of little kids around. The rooms are fine, but the walls are paper thin, so you hear neighbors and staff starting around 7am. The location is excellent, and that's really the main draw.

Even with record flooding and the power flickering, we had a wonderful family vacation. The restaurant worked incredibly hard to serve us a great meal, and you could barely tell they were dealing with the outage. The grounds were immaculate, full of fruit trees, flowers, lizards, and even small land turtles. Staff scrubbed the balconies and stairs by hand, and housekeeping were fun and friendly, though they slipped in to clean while we were out without us noticing. We had three rooms in different parts of the property, each great in its own way. They were a good size, with lovely patios and views even in the rain. Every room had umbrellas and a portable cooler, and many had full kitchens. They really do practice aloha. Love this resort.
