Keene Valley Lodge

We only had a short stay, but it was lovely, and the service was the best. Thanks, Kerry, for the dining tip and for suggesting the walk at Heaven Hills. It was a beautiful way to walk off that delicious breakfast. Take care, and hope to see you again soon! Joey and Sophie

The photos don’t do this place justice. My husband and I stayed in the Notman Suite this past weekend, and it was fabulous, with loads of privacy. I loved the decor, and the mattress and bedding were luxurious. I’m going to message them to ask which company supplies the sheets. Breakfast was top notch too. I’d give this place 19 stars if I could!

The Lodge’s huge fireplace, adjoining room, and porch make it easy to play games, hang out, and meet other people who love the area. The map room is awesome, and the flowers and grounds look more beautiful than ever. George and Lori have created a joyful, welcoming Adirondack atmosphere that feels like home, never fussy. Carrie called before we arrived, which made the whole group feel welcome. My wife came for the first time in many years and was amazed by the upgrades. I’ve been coming every year for well over a decade, and it’s still my favorite place to stay anywhere. My hiking family and friends return every year, usually splitting our stay between Phelps Cottage and the Lodge. This year we stayed in the Beede Suite. Both places have that same warm, home-like Adirondack feel. We’ll see you next year!

There’s lots of room, and everything was very clean. Breakfast was phenomenal, with homemade blueberry muffins, scrambled eggs, and oatmeal. The living room fireplace is awesome, with plenty of firewood. I highly recommend Keene valley Lodge.
