It's generally quiet, and there aren't many people hanging around. He is adding rooms with kitchenettes now, so if you need an efficiency apartment, this is a decent place. It works well for a longer stay, though less so for just one night.

We booked The Nest at the last minute and were very pleased with how clean, cute, and comfortable it was. There was some noise from foot traffic above the bottom unit, but it really wasn't bad. The staff were kind and gave us good local food recommendations, and the in-room coffee was delicious. We'd definitely stay here again.

The front desk staff were friendly, and the location was good, with a view of the hills. Our room looked recently remodeled, modern, updated, and clean. The beds were comfy, and the linens smelled fresh and clean. There was a big TV with cable and lots of channels. Breakfast was modest but good enough: three cereal choices, fresh fruit, bagels, individually packaged muffins and pastries, and yogurt. If I'm back in Rapid City, I'll stay here again.

The neighborhood looked a little rough at first, though we had no problems and found newer places to shop and eat not far away. The staff was very helpful, and the rooms were clean and modern. When they realized our original room wouldn't fit everyone, they moved us to a larger one at no extra charge. We had a great stay and would come back.

Breakfast was limited, which we already knew, since we planned to try another breakfast spot anyway. The room was clean and updated, and the shower was roomy with good water pressure. The firm beds with a soft top were just right for me. I'd happily stay again.
