Trail's End Inn

The mountains around us made celebrating New Year 2025 unforgettable. The team clearly put care into the little details, and everything was thoughtfully prepared to make the stay comfortable and memorable. We felt right at home thanks to the warm, friendly service. We stayed in the Skylight room, with its cozy wood-burning fireplace and jacuzzi. The sauna was perfectly clean and available right away when we asked, for a very reasonable price. We felt the price matched the quality perfectly. A big thank you to the team for creating such a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend it for a relaxing holiday and a break from city life!

After long days hiking, it was such a treat to come back to a hot shower, cozy fire, and the most delicious freshly baked cookies. The owners were amazing and incredibly hospitable. We loved our whole stay at the Trails End Inn. The rooms were just right, and we could use the kitchenette for our groceries. The shared bathroom worked great for my fiancée and me. 10/10, would recommend as a place to stay while exploring the Adirondacks!

This has always been a great inn, and the new owners have made welcome updates to the rooms, check-in and check-out, and guest communication. It’s become a lovely place for little kids too. Our 2.5-year-old loved playing with the toys on the porch. Several rooms welcome dogs, which worked well for us. I’ve stayed here on and off since the early or mid-2000s, though I can’t remember exactly when I first started. The peaceful setting is right in the heart of the High Peaks region and close to a great coffee shop, which is a bonus. The owners are friendly and very responsive. We’ll definitely be back.

We spent time on the deck looking out over the river and could have stayed there forever. The Trails End Inn is a quaint, charming motel, quiet and serene. The staff were warm and friendly, and our adjacent rooms were clean, cozy, and inviting. The beds were comfortable too. It’s a wonderful find and well worth the time.
