Kelseyville Motel

The front desk guy was a bully about our stay, and the doors barely shut. The shower curtains were black with dirt on the inside. They charged me for two nights even though we stayed one. If I could leave a zero rating, I would.

We stopped for one night while passing through. It was peaceful, the heater worked really well, and the price was great. The people were very nice. The room was basically clean, but we had to ask for a trash can and two extra pillows, and the microwave didn't work.

This was the worst motel my family and I have ever stayed at, minus five from me. It could be a great place and make good money if someone fixed it up. Room 17 was supposed to be non-smoking, but it reeked like a smoking room. They moved us to 15, where the bedspreads looked sat on. Under the sheets I found a couple of dead bugs and outdoor debris, so I borrowed clean sheets from family. The microwave was dirty, salsa was spilled down the kitchen sink, the blinds were filthy, and the kitchen walls were dirty too. The twin sofa bed had only bed springs, so I had to put bedspreads over them to keep them from hurting my little grandsons.

I visited a friend while she was staying here. The place was clean and quiet, and there may be larger rooms available, though I can't say for sure. The bathroom in her room was really small. As a big guy, I could barely turn around.
