For the price, this is a very decent hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are huge, tidy, clean, and quiet. There’s some wear in places, but this isn’t a brand-new property, and it gets busy because it’s close to the airport. The breakfast is quite nice, with omelettes, sausage, pastries, cereal, coffee, and juice. The staff are friendly and helpful. If you keep your expectations in line with a mid-price hotel, you may be pleasantly surprised.

We booked this for an early flight, and I wouldn’t stay here for any other reason. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the TV worked. On the other hand, the front desk clerk wasn’t personable. He’d been away when we arrived and didn’t greet us when he returned. He barely said anything, fewer than 10 words, and probably under five if I hadn’t asked a question. The floor felt tacky, the bench or luggage rack had a broken leg, and there didn’t seem to be linens or pillows for the pullout bed. The room sleeps four, but it had only two bath towels and four hand towels, and our party was two. Breakfast was disappointing too: the eggs were nearly cold, the toaster didn’t work, and there was just one muffin flavor.

I’d been here a week and a half and was ready to go home after only a few days of this. New management had taken over a week or two earlier, and the place clearly needed it. The third-floor carpets looked like a mud trail ran down the middle and ended in a pile by the elevator. The second floor wasn’t much better. In my first room, I couldn’t turn off the shower, though they kindly moved me to another one. Behind the front counter, the carpet looked like it had been flooded a while ago. The desk staff wore hoodies and skull caps, and were hard to understand. Breakfast was bare minimum, with less than Holiday Inn Express or La Quinta Inn next door. The elevators had problems, and the laundry washer and dryer were out of service, despite being told they worked when I called ahead for my two-week stay. The small bathroom trays for soap and shampoo samples were filthy and never got cleaned during my stay. They also changed the service policy while I was there, stopping daily room service unless you called to request a turnover. That would’ve been fine if anyone had told guests. My wife flew in for the weekend, and we walked into a dirty room after they’d stopped service. Over the next several days I requested service as instructed, but it never happened. Six days without a room turnover. A sign to hang on the door asking for service would help. The airport is only a mile away, but making a left turn out of the hotel after 7 a.m. was nearly impossible. One morning I waited more than 10 minutes, at the front of the line, to turn. And about the photo of the guy in the skull cap, he’s one of the front desk workers. Does that look like a professional hotel uniform?

The only positive I can mention is that the staff I encountered were friendly. The bathroom had pink and black mold, and the shower curtain smelled like clothes left wet for days. The walls looked like they had dried pee on them, and the floors were filthy. Breakfast had little variety: eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, and bread. On weekends it’s supposed to run until 10 a.m., but the eggs were gone before 9:30 and they never put out more, even as more people arrived. A woman even told a worker. The hot tub had a yellow-green tint, with trash floating in it. I think the filter was broken.

*** MOLD IN BATHROOM *** The guy at the front desk today, January 1st, 2026, was rude. I’ve been staying here faithfully for two weeks, and you’d think someone in hospitality would know how to handle a guest with a problem. I’ll never book here again. From now on, I’ll go down the road and get a room somewhere else.
