Hotel Bliss Kemah

They don't have fitted sheets, she said, and these rooms need hotel cleaners because they ARE NOT cleaned. The towels were dingy and brown, and I had to buy my own bedding. This was a last-minute reservation because it was closer than the other hotels for this bike event. The place looks like she bought it run down and tried to do the best she could, which wasn't very good. They have the nerve to rent these rooms out?! Not recommended unless you're desperate like we were 😕.

The photos describe this hotel accurately, and the rooms were as described. We liked the great service and the nice front room where you can hang out and get coffee. The location is perfect for the boardwalk and our favorite restaurant, Coconut Grove. If you're staying in the area, you can't beat the price and location. Special thanks to the staff for keeping an eye on our daughter's special blanket that we left in the room.

There was absolutely no breakfast, despite the online ad for free breakfast. If I'd known, I would have stayed somewhere else. The room was dirty, with hair and filth in the tub drain and a USED shampoo packet. The walls are so thin you can hear everything in the neighboring units. After driving 15 hours yesterday, I got woken by screaming next door. I'll never, ever come back.

It was a comfortable stay for the value. The beds were good, and the rooms were clean, with white, soft linens that looked new. The property is small and clean, though the entrance isn't as convenient. The ice machine worked. I didn't try the washer/dryer, vending, or breakfast. The only thing I didn't like was the location on the frontage road, which makes getting in and out less easy.
