Everything you need is within walking distance, and they provide all the cooking supplies. You might want to bring a bigger pan, though. I loved staying there, apart from a couple of issues: the hot tub didn't warm up at all on the second day, and the fridge wasn't clean. The ice maker didn't work, either.

The best part by far is the private hot tub on the screened-in patio. The boardwalk, bars, and restaurants are just a short walk away. We stayed in unit 8, which was clean overall, but everything felt outdated and worn from years of use. Our toilet had a strange yellow tint, and the furniture looked older than me 😐. It was nice for an impromptu weekend getaway, though I doubt we'll make it a regular spot.

The room was clean and really nice, and the jacuzzi was too. Those fresh desserts left for us were amazing. But the shower never worked, and neither did the microwave. I called the manager and got a rude explanation of how to turn on the shower, which still didn't help. We were told someone would come check both problems, but nobody showed up. We came on Saturday for our anniversary and could use the boardwalk before the 3 p.m. check-in. We usually stay at the nearby Holiday Inn, but wanted to try somewhere different. I don't understand calling it a bed and breakfast when there wasn't any breakfast. It's private and a nice place, so it might suit people with kids, or anyone who doesn't mind a bird bath. For a vacation getaway, I'd pick the hotel. This wasn't my kind of escape, especially for $220.

I used to really like this place, so I'm bummed by how this stay went. The room was dirty, with a cherry tomato tucked into the couch pillows, and the porch had dirt and cobwebs. The cable didn't work either, and staff spent our first hour there in the room trying to fix it. Even the shampoo and soap seemed as cheap as possible. I felt bad for the cat crying for food below our porch all evening, and wondered if there are permanent residents there now. I don't know whether ownership or management has changed. The room price was about the same as a hotel, so I'll stay at a hotel next time.

The charming decor and hot tub made our 10th anniversary stay great, and the AC kept the room cool the whole time. The plumbing could use an update, though. Whenever I turned on the hot water, there was a loud clanking, and in the shower water came from both the showerhead and the spout.
