Scottish Inn & Suites - Kemah Boardwalk

The price was way too high for what they call a “Jacuzzi room”: $300-$400 for a room that felt old and dirty. The room smelled awful, like dampness mixed with chemicals, and I could see mold on the walls and ceilings. I saw roaches inside, and rats running around outside. Hygiene was terrible. The owner DANNY was rude and didn't seem to know how to treat customers. His wife kept staring at guests, which made people uncomfortable. They both need to show paying customers some basic respect. If cleanliness, respect, or basic comfort matter to you, avoid this place.

I chose it because Kemah Boardwalk is close enough to walk to. Still, almost everything about the place was horrible: the curtains looked moldy, the sheets had cigarette burns despite this being a non-smoking room, and the tiles were cracked. The upkeep was really bad, and almost nobody answered at the front desk. I wish I could give it zero stars or less!

The inn is decent for what you pay, and I had no complaints. It's a good spot for Kemah Amusement park, about a 5 minute walk to work there and save the $15 parking fee.

Mr.Sam at the front desk was super nice, and the room was clean and upgraded. The Scottish Inn is in an amazing location and the price was very affordable. I was very satisfied with my stay and would recommend it to anyone. Vlad
