Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Belle Chasse/New

I ended up with nowhere to stay after booking a room. The woman I spoke with the night before said they had one, but when I arrived the manager said she’d lied and there were no rooms. I was stuck, and there was nothing they could do. They weren’t accommodating and didn’t seem to care. The manager was the rudest person I’ve ever spoken to. Luanne or Leanne or whatever her name is was the worst customer service person I’ve ever dealt with. I really hope her bosses see this and reprimand her. This was the worst experience, and I absolutely don’t recommend the hotel.

The drive here from Virginia was long, and the hotel was a great place to arrive at. The beds were comfortable, neatly made, and the linens were clean. Everything looked nice and clean, and the staff were extremely courteous. The complimentary breakfast was okay. It’s a great place, though it was a long way from the Westbank Expressway. My hubby said the distance reminded him of an airport runway. I enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend the hotel. Five stars for excellence in every way.

There are lots of bugs around the area, but that’s expected here in LA. For the price, this is a good value and a safe place to rest. Breakfast is complimentary, there’s a laundry room with one washer and dryer set, and the parking lot has plenty of spaces and good lighting. They also allow larger pets over 50 lbs. I wouldn’t mind coming back.

The rooms were excellent and the price was very reasonable. Our first room had a mold problem from a leak, but the front desk moved us right away and upgraded us to a suite for free because no smaller rooms were left. Breakfast was very nice, and the staff were amazing. It’s a great place if you don’t mind driving a little out of the way.
