The room decor was great, and ours felt cozy instead of like a bland hotel. I don't know if every room is different. We were there in late May to catch the end of winter, and the views were amazing. The hot tub felt fantastic after a long day in the snow. We could adjust the room heat and cooling easily. Didn't see any workers during the stay, and I'm not sure if that was good or bad.

At the end of the day, you can ski right down to the pool deck and be done, with no gear to carry. Getting to the lift is just as easy: cross the pool deck and ski down. Sunstone is one of the few true ski-in, ski-out condos on the mountain. Even Juniper Springs Lodge means walking 50 yards to the lift.
