We were lucky The Beach House could take us at the last minute after a nearby hotel canceled our reservation. As soon as you walk in, there's a lovely B&B vibe, with coffee, tea, water, or lattes available throughout the stay, plus an ice machine with "the good ice." The main area has comfortable seating to look at the ocean, a fireplace nook, and a table with several games. There's also a sweet little gift shop with unique gifts, a fantastic fragrance line I wish I'd bought something from, sweatshirts, and more. John gave us great dinner recommendations, and Allison's was delicious. Our room was basic but comfortable, with a super comfortable mattress and cozy robes that made up for the tiny bathroom, which was actually fine. We arrived during a nor'easter, and the ocean view was fantastic. We pulled chairs up to the window and watched enormous waves splash over the wall with a bottle of wine. The rest of the inn was lovely, and we'd happily stay again. The ground floor smelled very musty, and there were dehumidifiers in the hall, so I wouldn't want to stay down there. Minus one star for that and the small bathroom. Otherwise, they have everything you could ask for from an oceanfront inn.

This Inn has become our favorite place to stay around Kennebunk and Kennebunkport. The staff treat you like family, and it really feels like a home away from home. The personal touches include a 24/7 Coffee bar, a gift shop, and spacious, elegant sitting areas where you can relax, read, reconnect with loved ones, or meet new friends. The rooms are decorated with comfort and charm in mind. If you're planning a trip to the Kennebunk area in Maine, the Beach House Inn will touch your heart strings as it did ours. I highly recommend it!

We stayed at the end of September and absolutely loved it. The rooms were updated and spacious, with thoughtful decor and design. The lobby was cozy, and we could borrow bikes, beach chairs, and umbrellas. There's free onsite parking, the beach is within walking distance, and downtown Kennebunkport is a short drive away. I also loved the onsite retail shop, with lots of great gifts and products. Highly recommend!

The ocean was the highlight of our stay, and the front porch overlooking it practically begs for breakfast. That's why replacing the porch with merch was a huge disappointment, especially since we'd stayed in 2017 and so much has changed. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, the bathroom needs more shelving, and the tub backed up after every shower. There was no coffee maker, mini fridge, or microwave. Those would be great since there's no food offered and the inn isn't close to town.

The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. We loved our stay at The Beach House Inn. Everything was beautiful and clean, with lots of little extras that made it a perfect, relaxing visit. I highly recommend the inn, and we'll definitely be back!
