The price was far above what the place was worth, less than one star. One bed had soiled linens, and they expected me to go to the desk for clean sheets. The bathroom floor was dirty, and a room meant for four had towels for only two, even though we paid for three guests. Some of the hot spots didn’t work either. Children ran around in the rooms above and beside us until after midnight. Very dirty.

I got a refund and went to the La Quinta next door, which was much better for only a little more. This place is way overpriced, the rooms are disgusting, and the staff weren’t helpful. The first room still had people staying in it and smelled strongly of pot. In the second, there were no sheets on the bed and two big bags of trash on the floor. The front desk person blamed it on check-in not being until 3pm, even though it was already 2:40pm. Then she gave up and said I’d have to wait for a manager because she didn’t know what was happening. I can’t believe this place is still open.

We ended up leaving after one day of a planned three-day stay and lost some money, but I didn’t want this motel ruining our vacation. Comfort Suit is right behind it, so we stayed there instead. I’ve never felt a place was so unsafe to sleep in, and I don’t understand why people pay to stay here. There was mold all over our room, enough to make it hurt to breathe, and it seemed not to have been cleaned. Shady characters around the building made me feel unsafe. The ice bucket was full of mold, and when I asked the front desk girl for another, she made a face and handed me a dirty one. After I complained, we were shown two other rooms that were worse, with cigarette burns in the bed and broken furniture. I’d booked this place because it was close to the airport.

The pool is gorgeous, and the rate through Priceline was the best in the area, so it was good value. The room was a bit musty but bearable. There was no microwave, and the fridge was tucked inside the dresser. We had everything we needed, and checkout was at 11 am. The elevator on our side was out of service. Staff sent me around another way but didn’t mention it was broken. Most of the staff weren’t especially friendly, though they did their jobs.
