I’ve stayed at Day's Inn many times because Kennett is my hometown, and I’ve never had a bad experience. The linen has been fresh, the bathroom clean, and I’ve never seen any bugs, spiders, dragons, ghosts, or broken door locks. The woman who cleaned my room each morning did a great job, and after I explained I needed two towels, one for my hair and one to dry off, I had plenty for the rest of my stay. For a town where so much has moved away, even the local hospital, I think Kennett is lucky to still have a motel like Days Inn for visiting friends and family. Compared with many local businesses and some residential areas, it’s far cleaner than you might expect. The staff have always been eager to help me. If someone feels they’re getting poor service, maybe a little kindness toward the staff would help. Nasty, vindictive reviews only make it harder for a town that can’t afford to lose another local business.
