Econo Lodge Kennett

The room was clean and comfortable, and it’s handy having Walmart, fast food, and restaurants right nearby. We had to leave at 5 a.m., and the gentleman was willing to get out of bed and meet me in the lobby for coffee. A really nice family runs the place.

The pool was a great place to relax after a long day, and the manager was attentive and went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed. The rooms have been nicely renovated, making them feel inviting and comfortable. I had a really enjoyable stay at the Econo Lodge in Kennett, MO, and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay in Kennett. It exceeded my expectations.

After a lot of arguing, the booking company finally sorted out the date mix-up for me. I’d booked online for the 8th, but when I tried to check in on the 2nd, I realized my mistake. The man at the desk was no help, and we argued for an hour and a half before the booking company resolved it after another 20 minutes with him. Once I got the room, things were okay until the next morning. The general manager, the same man from the desk, came by around 10:30 and said checkout was due because the cleaner was there. The lobby says checkout is at 11. When we pointed that out, he got mad and left. Around 10:45 he came back, entered without knocking, demanded we leave, and said he’d call the police because I was making too much noise. Completely unprofessional, and I wouldn’t stay again. The lobby says the rooms are newly renovated, but my sheets and blankets had stains and looked dirty. I saw a few bugs too, and the water smelled strange. Would not recommend staying here.

For the price, the quality is hard to beat. Our room was very clean, the customer service was amazing, and the pet policy is quite reasonable. The motel has been renovated recently.
