The rooms are about the usual size for a motel, and the prices feel a little high. The owners are nice and understanding, though, and the maintenance man is great. He checks in on everyone.

Kenny and Sue are wonderful owners, kind and helpful, and they follow through when they say they’ll do something. The rooms are clean, and if you need anything extra, just ask and they’ll get it for you. It’s a quiet, relaxing place where they leave you in peace. They don’t take things from your room or open your door like B&J does. Best motel in town for the price!!!!!

The bathroom had insects, and our room wasn’t cleaned. We did get fresh towels on the second day. The sheets looked unwashed, with hair and stains on the bed. Hopefully there weren’t bed bugs. You must have been homeless to give this place five stars.

I’d stayed here many times over the years, but that’s over now. In January 2023 we woke up with bed bugs crawling on us. I confronted the owner at 2 a.m. and he moved us to another room, but after that there was no way to sleep. I only got a $20 discount after asking for one. It should’ve been a full refund. We left and went to the Country Hearth, which is a hotel, not a motel.

Kenwood is dated, but the room was set up well, with a small fridge, microwave, two dressers, and a flat-screen TV. The bedding was clean and the owner was really friendly. Bring your own shampoo and soap. Sorry about my photos, it was checkout time.
