The top-floor room was quiet, and the area felt safe, which was what I needed. There are a few places to eat within walking distance. The room seemed clean apart from the bathroom, where I found hair in the shower, so I’d bring Clorox wipes and wear flip-flops. Hot water took ages to arrive and didn’t last long. The TV signal kept cutting out, which could be a problem if you like to unwind with a show in the evening. Pets are allowed, so keep that in mind if you have animal allergies. I tried the small gym. It has a bike, elliptical, treadmill, free weights on racks, stretch bands, and mats for floor exercises. The website picture is accurate. Breakfast was really lacking: no oatmeal or bagels, and the coffee was pretty poor. I haven’t stayed here before, but I’d call it a safe, fairly clean place with bathroom caveats, not an exceptional one.

We liked it enough to stop here again on our way home. The staff made us feel welcome, and our huge suite was clean and comfortable, with two queen beds. We’re very happy to come back anytime. Really.

The front desk service was great, the rooms were very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Traveling can be stressful when you’re unsure where to go, but this place made us feel good about our choice. Just beautiful.

Breakfast supposedly runs from 6 to 9, but when I arrived at 8:17 there were no bagels, English muffins, or bread left. The eggs and sausage were cold, and the orange juice I poured looked like water with the faintest yellow tint. I heard a guest ask the attendant for bagels and juice. She said there were none, then added, “I just wanna go home.” She was wiping tables with a filthy, overused rag. I asked the desk clerk about it politely and got an “OK” with a big smile. The whole thing was bizarre. At least it made a funny story, and we went to McDonald’s to eat.
