Sacred Mountain River Suites

The location is peerless, and the thoughtful details around Sacred Mountain River Suites made the whole stay feel magical. The suite was beautiful and had everything I needed to relax for a few days. Wendy's massage and bodywork sessions were on offer, and her decades of experience really showed. I spent the days driving from one campground to another along the river, playing in waterfalls until the road ran out and I had to turn back. On the way back, I stopped for an incredible burger at the only cafe on mtn hwy 99, though I can't remember its name. At night the stargazing was top-notch. I saw a great display of the Southern Taurid meteor shower and brushed up on my late-summer night sky knowledge. It was wonderful to come back and sleep before taking on the Kern again the next day. River exploring is hard work, so I'd recommend a bodywork session for every two days of it. Thanks to Wendy and her family for such a perfect place to stay. I'm looking forward to bringing my mom in the spring.

We came for a family vacation and loved our time here. It was clean and cute, and Wendy is a great owner. The spa, bath, and living space were sweet and well kept, and it felt like being a guest in someone's home. We had massages and the mineral baths were excellent. There's a great spot on the Kern River within walking distance. We'll be back!

My family and I had a blast at Sacred Mountain River Suites this past weekend. Wendy gave me an hour-long massage, hands down the best I've ever had.
