The Kern Lodge

I already booked a larger room at Kern Lodge for my husband’s upcoming birthday. After this stay, I wouldn’t choose anywhere else. Room 204, one of the apartment rooms, was pristine. The linens were new, clean, and smelled wonderful; supplies and towels were fully stocked, and even the toilet paper was folded like an envelope and stamped. The attention to detail was incredible. I arrived late and called the number on the door. Management met me quickly, understood the situation, and assured me they’d take care of anything I needed. Meeting Cassandra and Bruce was a real pleasure. They’ve turned the place around, and it shows. The next day, Cassandra was so knowledgeable and kind, with such an upbeat attitude that she made the whole experience even better. Thank you for the atmosphere and the care. I loved my stay!

I recently stayed at The Kern Lodge for work and booked several rooms for our crew. Bruce was great to work with, and everyone in our group had good things to say about their stay.

I booked at the last minute to get away from the city fireworks and keep them from stressing out my pets. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The town is beautiful too. I’ll definitely be back.

I booked two nights through Booking.com, then had to cancel. They cancelled the booking but charged me $280 for both nights. For three weeks I’ve been trying to get a refund. The lodge keeps telling me they contacted B.com, but B.com says no one has reached out. I’ve called again and again, and each time they lie. I’m beyond frustrated and out $280. Disgusting.
