Relax Inn

There’s no hot water and almost no water pressure. I paid for a week up front, but when I wanted to go somewhere I could shower properly, they wouldn’t refund me. This place gets a zero out of ten. It is near Walmart, Burger King, and a couple of other places, though.

The room wasn’t very clean, the TV didn’t work, and there was no shower curtain. It cost less than the Travelers, so I guess you get what you pay for.

I’ve stayed here lots of times, and I’ve never found bed bugs in any of the rooms I’ve used. It’s not the best motel, and the rooms are cleaned as well as they can be, considering the condition of the place. I also think the guests contribute to that condition: people steal towels, damage the building, put dumb stuff down the drains and toilets, and don’t respect other people’s property. Even at a cheap motel, you should treat the place and its owners with respect. They’re providing a service.

The room was dirty when I arrived, the ceiling had mold, the door wouldn’t lock, and there was no closet bar for my clothes. The mattress had blood stains and was burnt. The housekeeper pushed sheets around in a grocery cart, which looked very unprofessional. She was rude, too. The manager makes up his own rules and told me to clean my own room. They use cheap cleaning supplies, nobody asked if I needed anything to clean with, and I bought my own towels and air mattress. There have been bed bugs. My husband and I were staying there together. I knocked on someone’s door because I knew he was staying there and wanted to talk to him. The manager put me off the property, called the police, and kept deactivating my key. We went to Walmart to get a few things, and when my husband walked back to the room, he saw the manager trying to get in while we were away. The manager told us to leave a window unlocked so he could get in. Why would I do that and let anyone enter and steal from my room?
