The room was spotless, comfortable, and peaceful, and the facilities were beautiful and well kept. My husband and I enjoyed the whole stay at CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa. The food was excellent, carefully prepared, and consistently good. We also loved the engaging, well-organized classes, especially getting to try activities we don't usually have access to at home. The staff made a strong impression. They were professional and knew their fields well, which added to the experience throughout the resort. We left feeling rested and rejuvenated, and we're already looking forward to coming back.

The spa was heaven, and each treatment topped the one before it. Even over a busy holiday weekend, most people at the spa pool were resting quietly and respectfully. Our one-bedroom suite was huge. Three of us slept there comfortably, and it could easily have fit four. For the pullout couch, ask for linens and extra mattresses if you want more comfort. We booked classes two months ahead and got everything we wanted. People who waited until arriving were surprised to find many classes full. They keep the groups to manageable sizes, which makes the classes more enjoyable. We tried several paid classes and experiences, and I felt they worked hard to make them worth the extra cost. I enjoyed everything I ordered at Terras. I'd worried after reading some less favorable reviews, and yes, it's expensive like most hotel restaurants these days. We chose the all-inclusive package partly so we wouldn't have to worry about prices. The service was outstanding, from the front desk and restaurant to the instructors and spa providers. I've never experienced anything like it, and I'm so grateful to everyone who made our five days feel special. My one wish is that the resort backed onto hiking trails. It's surrounded by a residential neighborhood, so you can't hike off the property. You can sign up for a nearby hike, though, and it was definitely worth it. The natural landscape is amazing, and the guides were fantastic at explaining the area's history and natural features. I'm already dreaming about returning to Civana.

The stay was way too short, but I had an amazing time. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful, with a great spa, fun classes, good food, and friendly staff. Thea gave me the best massage of my life, and I've had a few. Damien and Eric at the restaurant were super friendly and accommodating, and so were hiking guides Mark and Cullen. Can't wait to come back!

We celebrated my birthday here and had a wonderful time. The couples massage was absolutely amazing, and the hotel is beautiful with lots to do, especially if yoga, wellness, spa treatments, and spiritual-style relaxation are your thing. It can get a little crowded, so choose your dates carefully if you're hoping for a quieter, more private feel. Still, it's a lovely place to relax and celebrate a special occasion.

The view from my room was stunning. My bed faced a big bay window looking out at the scenery and beautiful cactuses, which made mornings especially peaceful. I took a solo trip to CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa and came home feeling refreshed, restored, and re-energized. The calm atmosphere, warm Arizona weather, and beautiful surroundings made it a great wellness escape. I loved meeting other solo travelers in the phenomenal wellness classes. The spa was beautiful, and my excellent massage was a highlight. The food was good, though I wanted more choices. I'd give the experience an 8/10 and would recommend CIVANA to anyone looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating retreat.
