The location is great if you want to be away from the crowds, and the front desk staff were nice and very helpful. I had no complaints about them. The room service was poor, though: they only emptied trash and replaced towels. Apart from one day, the beds weren’t made, sheets weren’t changed, and nobody vacuumed. Planes took off frequently from early morning, so you hear them all day. In summer the rooms heat up fast, and you have to sleep with the windows open. I’d also looked forward to eating at the hotel, since many places in Ketchikan close early, but the kitchen was shut because they had no chef and didn’t want to replace one with summer almost over.

It was a very pleasant stay. I loved waking up and looking out through the sliding door at the view from our small balcony. We could watch the cruise ships come and go.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the shuttle was super convenient for a motel 3.5 mikes out of town. The rooms are small, very clean, and decorated really cutely. The restaurant had great drinks too. Unfortunately our view was blocked by the shuttle van, even though the parking lot was empty, and the TV didn’t work. Still, the employees were so helpful, with five star customer service.

It’s tucked away from the main area, so it stays nice and quiet. Our room was small but adorable, and the ocean view made it perfect for our honeymoon. The customer service was absolutely top notch. Couldn’t have asked for better!

Don, the manager, went out of his way to arrange a shuttle and help us after the restaurants’ usual serving hours. The rooms were clean and the location was great. We had excellent service overall, and it was a great value.
