Miss Lisa and Miss Sheila made us feel right at home, and the rooms and premises were clean and cozy. Breakfast was fresh and had its own thoughtful style. I think of wellspring Manor as a luxurious art museum with guest services and sleeping quarters, and that's exactly how it feels. This was our second stay, for our one year wedding anniversary, and we had a wonderful time. They wished us a happy anniversary, which we appreciated. A handwritten note, little keepsake, or message in the room could have made the occasion feel more personal. My husband had also arranged an add-on cake package, but the cake was overlooked. The team quickly offered an alternative, and we appreciated the effort to make it right. Neither thing took away from our enjoyment, and we'd absolutely return. I wanted to share the ideas for guests celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, or other special occasions. A few thoughtful personal touches could make a lovely stay even more memorable.

The beautiful art throughout the property made quite an impression, and the Barn is an experience on its own. Barry, the curator, showed us around the collection and shared stories and insights. We also got to meet some of the in-residence artists at the Sunday Gallery Walk. Mornings brought homemade breakfasts, while afternoons meant hors d’oeuvres, wine, charcuterie, and other treats. The chocolate truffles were the best! Thanks to Kenny for the outstanding, relaxing spa treatments. Lisa and Sheila welcomed my best friend and me right away and looked after us and the other guests all weekend with such care. Everything seemed effortless, but you could feel the thought and warmth behind it. The beds were comfortable, the showers had strong pressure and plenty of hot water. Most of all, we felt genuinely cared for. Good conversations and the peaceful setting helped us slow down and breathe. It was restorative, and I highly recommend a visit.

Sheila is a wonderful hostess, and the hospitality was outstanding. Breakfast and the charcuteries were both healthy and delicious. The mansion and barn are beautiful, with African American art that compares favorably to what I've seen in most art galleries and museums. I had an amazing experience at Wellsprings Manor.

The art on the walls was beautiful and tasteful, with some pieces for sale and others there as decoration. The B&B felt warm and comfortable, more like a home than a hotel or resort. Sheila's service was impeccable. She spoiled us, looked after our needs, and was ready to help with anything else we wanted. Breakfast was delicious, with two courses on both Saturday and Sunday, and they took our dietary needs into account. I'd never stayed at a bread and breakfast (B&B) before, so I arrived without expectations. Wellspring blew us away and has set the bar for future stays. I arranged a couple of massages for my wife, and she raved about them afterward. She had deep tissue followed by reflexology and floated for the rest of the day. We'll definitely return.

We came for the Valentines weekend special and felt it was worth the cost. The live Jazz musical performance, champagne and roses in our luxury suites, and delicious meals cooked by Chef Renee all made it a special stay. Every detail at the Wellspring Manor & Spa felt thoughtful and intentional, with a relaxing, unplugged atmosphere and beautiful artwork and decor to enjoy. We had an Amazing time and will be back!
