Best Western Kettleman City Inn & Suites

The staff really made a rough night manageable. When our car broke down in Kettleman City late Saturday, we couldn’t find a repair shop or even a Lyft or Uber to get parts. They let us check out late while we worked on a solution, then drove us to the nearest auto supply store, a 30-minute trip each way. Without their help, we probably would’ve been stranded much longer. Everyone was incredibly kind, and we’re so grateful. We stayed overnight at this Best Western, and the room was great. The continental breakfast was noticeably better than most, with delicious real potatoes, eggs, and bacon.

Dora deserves a special mention for keeping the breakfast area so carefully looked after. She was friendly and helpful, too. Breakfast was included, with a waffle iron and pancake makers, and the room itself was huge and clean. It also had a fridge and microwave, and best of all, dogs are welcome. I’d expected little more than a place to stop mid-road-trip, but this was excellent value. We’ll come back if we need a room in the area.

On my last two visits in the past couple of weeks, Adamari at the front desk went out of her way twice to make things feel as homey as possible. She’s such a welcoming, friendly person, and her kindness really made a difference to me. Huge thanks to her from the bottom of my heart. We need more people like Admari. I’ve stayed here probably six times. The rooms are great, parking for semi trucks is really convenient, and customer service has always been great.

The showerhead had a high-pitched whistle that was a little distracting, which is why I’m giving the room four stars. Aside from that, it was all in good shape and well maintained. I also appreciated the sink in the breakfast area for washing your hands. It’s a small touch, but it made things feel cleaner and more convenient.
