Beach Haus Key Biscayne Contemporary Apartments

At least the beach is nearby. The room had a strange smell, and plumbing noises kept coming and going all night. It was extremely noisy.

The parking is outdoors, and one of the spots is free. Just be aware there’s no front desk. The rooms are basic, with the pool as the only amenity. The location is nice, and the host provided great service.

We spent a lot of time cycling around the island, especially through Bill Baggs park, and used the guest bikes. Some were broken, but there were enough working ones for us. There weren’t any child-sized bikes, so families with very young kids may need to rent them. Freebee rides are also available around the island. Our family found The Beach Haus spacious, clean, and quiet, in a great spot on beautiful, relaxing Key Biscayne. The stay included access to a private beach club a short walk away, with chairs, umbrellas, and a food stand. Winn Dixie was close too. The kitchen was adequate for us, though it had no dishwasher, which wasn’t much of an issue for a short stay. I’d recommend it if you want a kitchen or a separate second bedroom.

The apartment itself is nice, but the staff were so rude that we wanted to go somewhere else. We left a toy behind and it “disappeared.” The receptionist wouldn’t check the apartment, saying it had already been cleaned and the toy hadn’t been found. During our stay, the room AC broke, the dishwasher didn’t work properly, and getting a high chair for the baby took up to three calls.
