Dolphin Point Villas

The team at Dolphin Point Villas made the wedding day run smoothly. Everyone was welcoming, caring, and supportive, both to the couple and guests and to us as vendors. I recently photographed a wedding there, and the property itself is beautiful, with memorable sunset views that made a lovely Florida Keys setting. I’d recommend Dolphin Point Villas to couples looking for a beautiful venue with a great on-site team. I hope I get to work there again.

The unit was huge, and staff replied promptly to texts. The pool area was nice, and the point by the small beach had a good sunset view. But we wouldn’t return. At over $500 a night, the response to our complaints was just a message saying housekeeping would be notified, with no compensation. The floors were filthy, several drawers were dirty inside, and our feet looked dirty after walking around. The place needs a deep cleaning. Highway noise at night kept everyone from sleeping well, and the dock railing is literally falling over, which is a hazard. A couple of bathroom bulbs were burnt out, and the coffee maker didn’t work.

The master bedroom was enormous, and the bed was really comfortable. Coral Reef was bigger than I expected, clean, and very functional, with seamless access. I was here for four days on a quick getaway for some sunshine. It’s a short walk to the waterfront, with beautiful views, though it’s not a beach I’d swim at. Publix, sharkies, and local fishing guides were an easy drive away. Better than I expected, and I’d absolutely stay again.

The gated entry made the place feel much more private. The villas are clean and spacious, with high ceilings and a real vacation feel. Loved the dolphins next door, and being able to swim with them was incredible.
