The water view is amazing, and the rooms are clean and look nice. But after two years of renovations, the place still seems badly in need of work, and they’re using very cheap materials. The continental breakfast is worse than most, so don’t count on coffee, silverware, or bowls being available. Staff seemed to avoid talking to guests. The elevator has been out for a while and is taped off, and the pop vending machine doesn’t work either. Outside smells of sewage, and I never found the ice machine. Rooms are up two or three flights of stairs, so this won’t work if you can’t manage stairs.

The location is the only thing this hotel has going for it. The room smelled like feet and felt so damp. Rain came in under the door one night and soaked the rug. At check-in we asked to switch rooms and were told the place was full, though it didn’t look anywhere near full. The front desk said they’d let us know if another room opened, but we never heard back. Breakfast was just some bread and coffee, with plenty of bugs included. Nobody came to the room, and we had to track someone down for toilet paper. The sheets were paper thin. Gross, worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Save your money and don’t stay here.

We had a lovely, relaxing night here in mid-December 2025. There was construction happening, but it wasn’t bad and we didn’t hear loud noise or anything. Our king suite had a gorgeous water view, and the bed was very comfortable. I got some great sunrise photos. We got a 10% discount on a jet ski rental next door, and the restaurant and bar there were lovely. We enjoyed sitting at the bar. The staff were super friendly and took great care of us. It’s a quiet, quaint place with lots to do, and it was a great stop on our trip.

I want to thank the manager for working with us and canceling our reservation. The staff were truly wonderful and supportive. The hotel was having minor renovations, but they didn’t affect our stay. Our room was spacious, with a stunning ocean view and a large, extremely comfortable bed. This just wasn’t the vacation we had in mind: we like walking around and exploring, and the location is more secluded.
