We came to Tarpon Flats for a romantic couples' weekend and loved it. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, with an amazing view straight through the clear glass doors to the water. The private beach was only steps away, with chairs and a hammock, and felt like our own little retreat. We took the free kayaks out to explore the lagoon and bay area. The shower pressure was great, and the welcome book had lots of good suggestions for sights and food. A great stay and good value!

We stayed here for our babymoon a little over a year ago and loved the view of the sound and its calm water. The free kayaking route went through a waterway to an underwater spring, and we saw manatees! We definitely plan to come back as a family.

I was really struck by the hospitality and understated elegance at the Tarpon Flats Inn when I stayed for a wedding. The rooms were very clean and looked as if they'd been remodeled in the last two or three years. I'd highly recommend it for a romantic weekend getaway.

It's quiet and tucked away, with beautiful views from the hammock. The room was very nice and had a full kitchen. Bikes and kayaks are free to use, and there's a manatee that hangs around the marina. The state park trailhead is a short walk down the street.

It feels like paradise here, and everyone is so friendly. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and well kept. It's really an apartment, with a kitchen and everything. I loved using the kayaks for free, and they have bikes for guests too. I'd recommend it to anyone.
