Casa Marina Key West, Curio Collection by Hilton

We went with my girlfriend and her parents, and Casa Marina made for a perfect relaxed family getaway. The food was superb everywhere we ate, and it was easy to walk into town and explore Key West. Every housekeeper we passed greeted us with a smile, and our room was beautifully maintained. In the lobby bar, we had a lovely time chatting with the bartender from Moldova, whose name I feel terrible for forgetting. Gabe was also excellent behind the bar. I met Thom, the General Manager, and he was so affable and took time to talk with us. We felt truly welcome. Ronald at the front desk set a great tone from the start, going out of his way to make everything seamless. Christian and Lizbeth were attentive on the beach, Lea made dinner relaxed and easy, and Natalia's cheerful efficiency at the coffee shop became part of our morning routine. Cassie gave thoughtful advice and recommendations that helped us make the most of Key West. We had a fantastic weekend and wished it could have lasted longer. Thanks to the whole team. We're already looking forward to coming back.

A special, relaxing weekend with my parents at Casa Marina, and we're already keen to return. We loved both the beach and the property, and the location made it easy to explore Key West. Ronald at the front desk stood out for the effort he put into making our stay go smoothly. We also had two great bartenders, Gabe and a gentleman from Moldova at the lobby bar who was wonderful to talk with. Christian and Lizbeth were always ready to help on the beach, and Lea was warm and lovely at the beach restaurant. Cassie shared useful suggestions that made getting around town easy. Natalia in the coffee shop was cheerful and efficient every morning.

The suite was really nice, comfortable, and clean. We were in the suite wing, and everything there was perfect. Breakfast at Flagler's was excellent. We ordered a la carte, and they also have a buffet. My kids loved the pancakes, and I loved the avocado on sourdough bread. Service there was amazing, too. The hotel itself is amazing, with enough beach chairs and umbrellas for everyone, plus two pools, one for adults only and one for families. The valet guys were great about helping with luggage and opening car doors. Every employee we met was friendly, kind, and helpful. We had an almost perfect stay. The only snag was check-in. The hotel was really full, so the room wasn't available early, which was fine, and we spent some time at the pool. But it still wasn't ready at the regular 4 pm check-in time. The receptionists did what they could to improve things, and I got a credit to use at the bars or restaurants as an apology, which was great. I don't understand the bad reviews. We'd definitely come back.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and nice, with a balcony looking over the pool and ocean. The bathroom felt a little small, and we wished there were a freezer and microwave. The grounds were well kept. Valet and bellhop greeted us smiling and were very helpful, and check-in was friendly and easy, with someone showing us to our rooms. The concierge was a different story. We asked for the best ways to get around Key West, but she was rude and made snide remarks instead of helping. I told the service desk, and they said the concierge is usually third party, and this wasn't the first complaint about the same woman. Either way, it reflects poorly on Hilton. We figured things out ourselves, and I scored service lower because of that disappointing interaction.
