Eden House

We really liked Eden House’s location and cozy feel, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Katie and Billy at the Tiki bar were great. The rooms are small, as we expected, but at nearly $600 a night we also expected a comfortable bed and some effort to update the in-room setup. Convenient phone plugs, decent lighting, and a more modern shower would have helped. We left disappointed.

We had four people and stayed in a suite toward the back of Eden House. It had a large private bedroom, a pullout couch in the living room under a vaulted ceiling, a kitchen, full-size fridge, and a large bathroom. The accommodations worked perfectly for us. The grounds are tropical and beautifully landscaped, with a large pool, hot tub, tiki bar, hammocks, swings, and outdoor showers. Everything was well maintained and very clean. There’s a parking lot, a restaurant next door, and bicycles for rent. The lobby is cute, with fresh fruit and coffee every day. It’s also an easy walk to the marina, cafes, and Duval Street. A real Key West gem, and an awesome experience.

Eden House was the highlight of our Florida trip, and my wife has been especially happy here. We only had four days on our first visit to Key West, but it was one of the most pleasant hotel stays we’ve had. Jenna at the front desk and the rest of the staff were amazing, always there in a moment if we needed them. The place is kept in pristine condition, including the spotless pool and hot tub. Music played throughout the day at a comfortable volume. We asked to see a few unoccupied rooms and found that each has its own distinct character. That should make future visits feel different each time. Between the amenities, location, price, and staff, we couldn’t ask for more. We’ll stay here again, and I can’t recommend it more highly.

The rooms are clean and cozy, a little small, but the bed and bedding are great. Helpful staff, and they’ve kept the old Key West vibe. The pool area is just the right size. Downtown and Duval St are an easy walk away, with boating adventures nearby if that’s your thing, or you can just take it easy.
