Fitch Lodge - Key West Historic Inns

The rooms were quiet and it’s easy to walk everywhere from here. The pool is small, but does the job. I liked the hot drinks in the morning and the afternoon cocktail. My booking said breakfast was included, and I factored that into the cost, but there’s no breakfast, just a 10 percent discount at a nearby bakery. Even some fresh fruit would’ve been nice.

Skye made this stay for us. The day before we arrived, I mentioned we’d be early and asked whether we could leave our bags. She immediately asked when we’d get there and whether we’d rather have an early room. She said one would be held for us, and the room she saved was much better than I expected. I’d ask for it again. She was warm, attentive, genuinely kind, and communicated brilliantly. Her mix of professionalism and friendliness set the tone for our whole time in Key West. My view of Fitch Lodge, and of the hotel group as a whole, comes from that experience with Skye. The property is beautiful and comfortable, and the rooms were spotless, thoughtfully set up, and a great place to relax after the day. It’s rare to feel so well looked after. Thanks in large part to Skye, this became a memorable stay. I’d return without hesitation and recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier hotel.

A good place to get out of the humid heat and rest. The rooms and bedding are good, and there’s cold water in the lobby for hot, sticky days. Some of the rooms they own across the street could use improvements, but otherwise it’s a great stay. The location is ideal, with a pleasant walk downtown taking less than five minutes, and it’s right by the ferry for people arriving by boat.

Lee at the front desk welcomed us with a sweet manner and useful tips, and our room was spotless. The location is hard to beat. Big thanks to Sky and the management for being so accommodating when the weather made us change our plans. Their kindness took a lot of stress out of the situation. We can’t wait to stay at Fitch Lodge again, highly recommend it.
