Hilton Garden Inn Key West / The Keys Collection

The staff were fantastic, especially Ryan, my pool bartender for most of the week. He really knows Key West food spots, and every recommendation worked out. The Hilton Garden Inn Key West / The Keys Collection has clean, comfortable, well-kept rooms, a solid gym with newer equipment, and three buildings around a good-sized pool, hot tub, and pool bar serving food. Guests can also use the pools and restaurants at the two neighboring hotels. Other guests described this as the quieter, more laid-back pool, while one nearby property was busier and another drew a younger, louder crowd. Nice to have options depending on your mood. The hourly free shuttle downtown was a big help. Uber was about $25 each way, and downtown parking was a headache at $6 an hour with a 30-minute minimum, about $60 a day. You can rent bikes or golf carts, and the hotel can set you up for a beach day with coolers and chairs. There’s a fridge and microwave in the room, and a grocery store about a mile away. Breakfast isn't free: the buffet is around $18, though there are cheaper options. The location is at the US-1 entrance to the island, near the hospital, so traffic and ambulances are constant. Roosters are everywhere, protected, and crow from around 4:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. The hotel provides earplugs. I'd stay here again for the quieter setting, easy downtown access without staying in the madness, and good service.

The lobby looked very nice, and our room was clean, but it was old and badly dated. The furnishings need replacing. There was a sewer-like smell the whole time. I don't know if that's just the water in Key West, but I wouldn't stay again. It wasn't what I expected from a Hilton. With prices so high in Key West, they should put some money into fixing up the rooms.

Jorge at the front desk made check-in feel easy and welcoming. He was warm, attentive, and really helpful, and he went out of his way to make sure everything was right. I felt well looked after throughout my stay. The hotel itself was fantastic, with beautiful spaces, comfortable rooms, and a relaxing feel that made me want to stay longer. Jorge's hospitality is what made the visit especially memorable. Highly recommended, and a big thank you to Jorge! 🌟

The rooms were very clean during our four-night stay, March 2-6, 2026. The location was okay, but the customer service was fantastic. Everyone working at the Hilton Garden Inn was friendly and helpful, and the concierge service was great. We spoke with Terry and Barbie at the concierge desk, and it was the best service we've had at any of the Hiltons we've stayed at in Key West.
