Hyatt Vacation Club at Beach House, Key West

The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed: two king-size bedrooms, with a huge main bathroom featuring double sinks and a double shower. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. Check-in was easy with Cheryl's help, and concierge Marie was informative and helpful. It's a little away from town, which made it peaceful. There's a nearby trolley stop for getting into town, and Marie can arrange the Old Time Trolley Tours.

The two big bedrooms were comfortable and each had a TV, and the living room had two chairs and a cozy couch. We also made yummy breakfasts in the nice kitchen. The pool was pretty good, though a slide would make it more fun. The beach access wasn't the best. The water was quite cold and had leaves and dirt. You could swim in the ocean, but it wouldn't be ideal. Still, for the price, this was an amazing hotel and I'd recommend it to anyone staying in Key West. I came with my family for a Florida Keys vacation.

We felt at home as soon as we arrived in the unit. It was very clean, and the main bathroom was beautifully designed. The pool was at an excellent temperature, and the service was excellent throughout our time in this magical place. A couple of things could be better. The food from the Tiki bar wasn't good, though the woman there was lovely. We wished there were more restaurant choices, but it's easy to find a nice place outside the resort in Key West. Also, the walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything from outside and inside the unit.

The space itself was perfect: two large bedrooms with a king bed in each, two bathrooms, and one enormous bathroom. The kitchen was big and came with paper towels, salt and pepper, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, a coffee maker and filters, a couple packets of ground coffee, sugar, and creamer. There was also a washer and dryer with two Tide powder boxes. The small beach area had lots of different seating, and the screened patio was awesome. We would've given the rooms five stars if we hadn't had to listen to constant thuds from the unit above. It went on in the middle of the night and before sunrise, from a young kid or kids whose parents weren't managing them well. We requested a third-floor unit for exactly this reason and ended up on the first floor.
