Drew handled everything from concierge and front desk to billing, breakfast, and happy hour setup, and he was fantastic. Always smiling and ready to help. The house is right off Duval, so you're close to all the action without the foot traffic and noise, aside from the roosters waking you up. The front porch and back deck were nice for breakfast or a drink. Our room had a full bathroom with shower only, a really comfortable bed, mini fridge, strong AC, and a closet that's useful for a longer stay. We never turned on the TV because there was so much to do. There’s no elevator, so keep that in mind if mobility is an issue. There’s no parking on site either, though you can stop out front for about ten minutes to load or unload and then use free public parking a few blocks away. We could walk to everything we wanted on the island. It cost a little more than we expected, but the convenience and experience made it worth it. We'll be back.

The location is excellent, about half a block from Duval St. Housekeeping did a great job, and the continental breakfast had bagels, fruit, yogurt, pastries, juice, and more. They also put out wine and simple cocktails for happy hour. Drew in the office was the best part for us, helping with reservations and restaurant suggestions. A few things in room 11 could be improved: there was nowhere to set soap or shampoo in the shower, and the shower head faced the door, so reaching in to turn it on soaked me and the bathroom floor. Light from the porch also came into the room, which could be blocked better. Apart from that, we loved our stay.

We booked L’Habitation for three nights in warm weather to celebrate our anniversary, and good Google reviews had us expecting a lot. Instead, we slept so badly the first night that we asked to check out. Management kindly let us leave early without a penalty, though we still had to pack up and find somewhere else. The bed was impossible to sleep on, very bouncy, with the springs easy to feel through the mattress. Road sounds came through the poorly insulated windows, and the continental breakfast was just meh. The two chairs were so dirty we wouldn't sit on them and asked for extra sheets to cover them. The shower was more or less clean, but the glass badly needed lime remover.

Drew was incredibly attentive. I broke my ankle and he even brought me ice. The room was lovely, and the generous breakfast was a plus. L’Habitation is perfectly placed near bars, restaurants, museums, and the beach. We had a truly wonderful stay and will definitely return on our next trip to Key West.

For our one night at L’Habitation Guest House, we found a charming, well-kept place that felt local and true to Key West. The rooms were beautifully decorated, and the staff were welcoming and genuinely hospitable. Breakfast and coffee were great, and the relaxed B&B atmosphere made the stay feel special. We were very happy there and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend.
