Paradise Palms by Avantstay Great Location w/ Outdoor Dining, BBQ Close to Higgs Beach Month Long Stays

Jonathan was an outstanding manager, so personable, and the beds were great in our clean room. Bikes are the best way to get around. I’m 70, and if I can do it, anyone can! Moe’s has the best Key Lime Pie and is only a couple of blocks away. Thanks for the hospitality, Jonathan. Hope to come back soon, and have # 10 ready!

A spotless room and really helpful staff made this a great base for exploring Key West. We enjoyed having continental breakfast on the patio each morning. It was lovely.

The room itself was nice, with air conditioning and a heater, and the price was great. Parking was included and the service was superb. The only issue was the smell in the room. Less bleach, please. We had to use the heater during what felt like the coldest week ever. 😅

We planned an overnight at the Grand Guesthouse on 9/26 as a birthday gift for my mom, but the condition of the room meant we had to find somewhere else to stay. Rooms #10 and #7 both had areas with mold, rust and dirt, along with peeling paint. I sent the regional manager photos and details by text. She offered to show us another room but said the booking was non-refundable. The second room had similar problems, and I sent photos of that too. She asked if peeling paint was my main concern, saying it was common in humid places, and again emphasized the no-refund policy. We declined the other room and found different accommodations. Neither staff member we spoke with apologized for the conditions or offered to make things right. I’m sharing photos of some of the areas we found. Check the room conditions and business practices before deciding to stay.
