The location was a plus, with the beach just a short walk away, and the apartment was fairly clean. Still, for the high price, I expected much more. It must have been a wonderful place about 20 years ago. There’s plenty of charm here, which makes the state of the property a shame. It’s very old and poorly maintained, with broken chairs and other things left in the backyard among the palm trees. Much of the equipment advertised on the website is barely usable and well past its best days. Our “suite” had just two cups for four people, no coffee machine, and no proper glasses, only a few very old, mismatched plastic cups. We told them on arrival that the window blind was broken and asked to have it replaced, but nothing was done. The broken blind is still sitting in the apartment, and it looks like it may have been there for weeks or even months without anyone taking care of it. I’ll add pictures so you can judge for yourself.

Set in a quiet neighborhood, Suite Dreams Inn is only minutes from everything Key West has to offer, and two lovely beaches are within walking distance. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with what we needed as a home base in Key West. Staff were incredibly friendly and quick to respond. There’s a small but deep pool that’s great for cooling off in the Florida heat, along with grills, patio furniture, hammocks, and lounge chairs on the grounds. If I come back to Key West, I’ll stay here again without hesitation.

We had a private pool to use, and the rooms came stocked with snacks and other things we needed. The rooms were beautiful and the property was so pretty. Mark and Gail were wonderful hosts who made sure everything went smoothly. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely call to book again on our next trip to Key West.

We chose this place because it’s in a residential area and away from the craziness and business of Duvall street. It’s close to the Southernmost Point, Higgs Beach, and White Street Pier, where we did a lot of fishing. Having parking right outside was a huge plus for Key West. Our stay was Saturday November 23 - 27, the weekend and week leading up to Thanksgiving. The room was a good size and had what we needed: a king size bed, bathroom, closet, small fridge, microwave, coffee pot, silverware, dishes, and some other basic kitchen items. The hotel is quaint and quiet, just what we wanted. Inside the gated garden area, plants and trees surround a small soaking pool, making it feel tropical. There’s a cute cat there too. It’s older and a little outdated, but has a lot of history. The owner, Mark, was extremely nice and welcoming, and gave us lots of useful information about Key West, attractions, restaurants, and good happy hour spots.

Suite Dreams is on a quiet, cozy street, but still only minutes from downtown. Mark was easy to work with and helped us book the best activities in Key West. Renting the bikes costs very little and is something I highly recommend. If we’re back in Key West, we’ll almost certainly stay at Suite Dreams again.
