That spot is hard to beat for getting to Keystone Resort. The Razor Drive bus stop is right outside, and the ride over is quick. You can walk there too, though it can feel like a trek by the time you arrive. With a few updates, I'd happily come back. We managed three nights after lowering our expectations based on other reviews, and ended up finding the room cozy enough for our family. It was clean, but very dated and worn: old furniture, a wobbly bunk bed, torn carpet, and chair legs that were broken. Our room didn't have a kitchen, so maybe those units are in better shape. The front door and bathroom door both needed a hard shove to close. The indoor hot tub was enjoyable, though the sauna wasn't working. The dryer was broken with no out-of-order sign, but they reimbursed us for the quarters we lost. The change machine takes $4 for each washer or dryer cycle. There's a coffee and tea station by the front desk, and the lobby is welcoming. The desk was usually staffed from afternoon into early evening, and service ranged from really friendly to just okay. It felt like Motel 6 budget quality, so that was about what we expected.

The owners were helpful with everything we asked them about, and we'd stay here again. We traveled all the way from Iceland, and this definitely wasn't our last visit. For the price, it was an amazing experience and deserves five stars. If you want a high-end stay where everything is perfect, you'll need to pay two or three times as much.

There was no one at the desk when our key stopped working at night, and nobody answered the phone. We couldn't get into the room and had to find somewhere else to stay, which was extremely inconvenient. The location is close to several ski resorts, and the price is very affordable. It also works well for groups, since many rooms have two or three beds. But our room had a noticeable damp smell and needed better ventilation. Breakfast was listed as available, but there wasn't any.

The hot showers and a nice front desk clerk were about the only good parts. The place is handy if you want a choice of ski areas, but that's where the positives stop. We paid for a queen bed and got a full instead. One room smelled like someone had been chain-smoking, and the vending machine food was expired. Some of it had dates in 2025, but the chips I bought had expired in September 2022. They were disgusting and made me sick. Keep your expectations low and you might not be disappointed.

The shuttle stop is right outside, with service to the other resorts too. The staff were amazing and the location was great. We stayed three nights last week, then added one more day. This will definitely be our hotel of choice.
