We've had dinner at the ski tip lodge restaurant four times and have always loved the service, attention to detail, excellent food, and delicious cocktails. Being able to walk there from home is a real perk. When we went in March, we brought two other couples so they could try this unique restaurant. One guest said it was the best meal of her life. But I'm extremely disappointed about the homeowner discount. We bought a home in the Alder neighborhood in 8/2024 and understood that Vail, which owns the lodge, offers residents a discount. When we asked, we were told it was for residents only, and we assured them that we live here in both summer and winter. They still questioned whether we qualified and said there should be a rule based on how many days we stay at the property. We've been to the restaurant four times since buying our home, so it was embarrassing to be treated as though we weren't believed in front of our guests. I understand that people might abuse a discount and that checks and balances are needed. I hope this doesn't happen to other homeowners.

Dessert by the fireplace was a lovely finish to a great dinner, and the service was excellent. The menu didn't feel especially cohesive, though each dish was excellent on its own. Definitely worth a visit around Keystone if you're after a great experience.

Before COVID, Ski Tip was our favorite dining experience in Summit County. We were really disappointed when we returned after COVID, and when we tried again a few weeks ago it still had a long way to go to get back to that level. Cayla was wonderful, but the food didn't inspire us. For the same price, there are much better places to eat in Breck. I hope things are still a work in progress and the restaurant doesn't disappear under the weight of the new places at Kindred.

The food was immaculate, beautifully presented, and just the right size. It was the best meal of my life. The whole place felt special, with a warm atmosphere, clean and comfortable rooms, and a real sense of stepping back in time. We spent a night here in January, and the staff were exceptional. Crystal especially went above and beyond as a host to make our stay enjoyable. I'd absolutely come back.

We had a wonderful dinner at Ski Tip Lodge, with a delicious, nicely presented four-course meal in a cozy, intimate setting. Nick was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the staff made our daughter's birthday feel special. She loved their attentiveness and enjoyed her three-course meal: a fruit cup, a perfectly cooked medium-rare filet, and a dark chocolate lava brownie sundae. A memorable place for a night out. Highly recommend.
