The beach was fantastic, just a 2 to 3-minute walk away, including the pedestrian traffic light. Nearby, South Maui Gardens has food carts, and Kitoko was an amazing food truck. We also had a great breakfast at Da Green Coffee, especially enjoyed the beautiful natural, green ambiance. Monkeypod Kitchen and Lineage are good restaurants just a few minutes away by car. Traffic in the area is light later at night. I recommend staying here.

Staff were easy to reach by text and quick to respond. I upgraded to a one-bedroom suite and it was totally worth it for the extra room and two bathrooms. I hear units vary, with some remodeled, so I was very happy with the upgrade. The WiFi was solid, there was cable TV with Netflix access, and the parking garage was convenient. I’d definitely stay again. I had a fantastic stay at Aston at the Maui Banyan, booked through Costco Travel. The complex is great and the Kihei location is ideal, an easy walk to the beach that I made multiple times a day, with shops and restaurants close by. 🌴Mahalo

The condo was clean, with lovely grounds and a nice ocean view. Shops and food were an easy walk away, and a beautiful beach is just across the road. The staff were friendly and hospitable. We'll definitely come back.

I always booked directly with Aston Maui banyan and have stayed here more than 10 times. I'm very disappointed that a repeat guest who often recommends the place got what felt like the worst room. We booked a studio because we didn't need a kitchen or laundry on vacation, but were put in the last room in the T building, on the top floor at the back, with no elevator. I pack heavy since I don't do laundry on vacation, and there was no parking in the back, so we had to park in the middle or front and carry multiple bags. The room was small and outdated, with rusty fixtures, old furniture, and no updates. Its loud air-conditioning unit kept me awake all night. Apparently rooms are assigned on the day, and you need to call to ask for upgrades. I won't be back, ever.

This will be our fifth trip to Kihei and stay at Aston at the Maui Banyan. The location can't be beat: the beach is across the street, and lots of restaurants are walkable. The staff are great, including Nicki and Shantelle at the front desk, who are both friendly and helpful. The maintenance staff are friendly too. We love our one-bedroom room with its kitchen and two bathrooms, and having the swimming pools for some quiet time is nice. See you next year, Maui Banyan. We miss you already!
