The views of the ocean and palm trees from the back doors are stunning. We were upstairs and the view was breathtaking. Downstairs units open onto the grass and then the ocean. The tiki torches make a nice evening atmosphere, and the downstairs patio has a full dinner table while upstairs there’s a cozy table for two. The complex is small and next to a couple of others, and it felt very quiet and serene. Even though it was built in the mid-70s, it's extremely well maintained and has everything you need: a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, lovely pool, Murphy bed, ample lounge chairs, and it's very clean. There were even sand chairs and beach toys left by previous visitors, which was cool. No AC took some getting used to, but we acclimated quickly, enjoyed the tropical breezes, and reminded ourselves we were conserving the island's resources instead of using them just to stay chilled.

The backyard has plenty of shade, seats, and room. I hung up my hammock and watched the sunset. The units are right on the beach, in a great central spot in Kihei near lots to do. I've found sea turtles every time I've gone swimming, and the water is quite shallow. The units themselves are clean and modern, with fully equipped kitchens. There's no AC, but it isn't really needed.

We stayed for two weeks and loved every day. It's great for kids, and mine especially loved the saltwater pool. We enjoyed the green space between us and the beach. There’s no AC, but we actually used the covers at night, and the breeze kept the condo cool. Bill, the caretaker, stopped by each day to check on things and even gave our daughter a souvenir. Really looking forward to going back.

We had two apartments for our family, and the accommodation worked perfectly for us and the grandchildren. There were always three or four turtles on the beach at 7 a.m., and they came back to sleep there at night. We loved the grassy area in front of the apartments, and the pool was sparkling, thanks to Bill. We've just returned from two weeks and will definitely be back.

A nice, private place. Just don't close the windows, or it gets like a sauna.
