It’s a good base for driving around the shores, and the location is great. The building feels a bit dated, but our unit was nice. Parking can be challenging. Although the condo is by the beach, the beach itself is quite small compared with others just a few miles away. It suits couples looking for more privacy who don’t want to stay in high end hotels.
The balconies and patios overlook the ocean, and the rooms are very nice. From here you can easily drive to most of the places you’ll want to visit in Maui. There’s a beach shop, farmers market, and shaved ice across the street, and the long Sugar Beach stretches north and south just steps away. A fantastic place to stay while visiting Maui. I can’t overstate how great it is. You won’t be disappointed.
Being right on the beach made it easy to take a walk, swim, or just lie in the sun. The condo also had a private lawn and pool, plus a full kitchen stocked with the pots, pans, and utensils we needed. The furniture was comfortable, and the bed was great. With two bathrooms, we could both shower at the same time. It was a thoughtfully equipped place, and the central west location made it quick to get to snorkeling and shopping.
We were there for a week over New Year's and had a great time. The beach was lovely, and having stores right across the street was really handy. Great place to stay.
The unit was supplied with the kitchen dishes, pots, pans, and other things we needed, and the beds and showers were really relaxing. We also loved the more private stretch of beach just outside, with amazing views. Kihei Beach Resort was a convenient base for the different sights we wanted to see around the island. We had such an amazing stay and can't wait to come back.
