We had a good experience, though some details could be better. Our unit was updated and clean apart from the balcony area. The pool was clean and well maintained, and the back area was kept up with cut grass, but people didn't pick up after their dogs. The ocean and sunset views are wonderful. The condominium and common areas are dated. Parking is very tight. A small mall is about a ten-minute walk away, but the streets aren't lit and there's no sidewalk, making it quite dangerous at night. I'll list the unit-specific details in my Booking review.

We were fortunate to choose this VRBO as our home for two weeks in Maui. It was centrally located, with a lovely porch overlooking the ocean. The condo had useful things we might need, including chairs and a cooler. There was also a pool, plus washers and dryers on site.

A great way to start our stay on Maui. The location made it easy to get around, and the on-site staff were friendly. The condo had what we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen, boogie boards, snorkel gear, and lawn chairs. We did miss having a coffee grinder and whisk. It was a bit dated, but we didn't spend much time in the room. And the view is priceless! If you can, stop at the local market and support the local artisans.

The kitchen had everything we needed, and they even provided binoculars for whale watching, beach chairs, an umbrella, and several coolers. We spent our evenings watching the sunset framed by the lanai. The pool stayed quiet, and the beach was just over the open lawn in the public park, with only a few palms between the pool and shore. Watch for burrs in the grass, so keep your shoes on until you reach the sand. Pickleball went on through daylight, but we got used to its steady rhythm. The location was perfect, and I’d love to come back.

The morning birds and a quick dip in the little pool before dinner made this a peaceful place to stay. I’ve been to this condo building twice and would definitely recommend it for an island vacation. The building dates to 1975, so it isn’t the newest, but it’s kept in good shape and the location is hard to beat, with only a lovely lawn between Leinaala and the beach. Sunsets from the lanai are incredible. The roomy units have what you need, there’s an elevator, and the shared laundry never seemed busy. If you want activities, there’s yoga on the lawn at 8am three days a week, plus a lively pickleball group at the courts next door. I can’t wait to return.
