Maui Coast Hotel

The free shuttle made getting around effortless, whether we were headed to shops, restaurants, or acai bowls nearby. There's also a good sushi restaurant practically on the property, and the beach is just steps away. The hotel has been newly renovated and is in excellent shape, with a great pool, hot tub, and pool bar. Every staff member I met, from the front desk to housekeeping and the pool attendants, was consistently friendly and helpful. They were already a big help when I called before check-in with questions about Super Bowl watch spots, acai bowls, and local restaurants. I travel often for work as the founder of Joycoast, a sustainable lifestyle brand that makes handcrafted wooden watches and sunglasses. I stayed at the Maui Coast Hotel in Kihei recently and will absolutely return. Highly recommend for work or leisure.

My wife and I just got back from a week at the Maui Coast Hotel, staying in Room 4487 in the new Kai Tower. Service was excellent from check-in through checkout, and everything from the atmosphere and food service to the amenities, bed, television, housekeeping, parking, security, and location was as good as it gets. Every staff member we met was friendly, professional, and helpful. The poolside cafe was a lovely place to spend the evening, with good food, excellent service, and better than average nightly entertainment. No complaints, only kudos. Highly recommend this outstanding hotel!

The smaller feel suited us, and the pools never seemed too packed. Every staff member was great. There’s live music by the pool each night, and the sunsets are beautiful. We could walk to beaches and restaurants, too. The resort fee felt worth it for the extras: refillable water bottles, a souvenir bag, bikes, shuttles, and a hospitality room. We were flying out late and needed somewhere to freshen up after the beach and pool. Parking is $20 a night, and they have a hair lei in the lobby every day. I could keep going. We checked out this morning, and I just had to say how amazing it was!

The little extras made getting around easy: free reusable water bottles and complimentary bikes. The property felt relaxed and welcoming, with clean pools and a very well kept room. Housekeeping did an excellent job throughout our stay. The bathroom was spacious, which helped a lot with the family, and the rooms were very clean. It was comfortable and stress-free for us, and we’d happily come back. A great family choice.
