The location made everything easy. The beach is just across the street, and there are lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. ABC Store is right opposite too, which was handy for snacks, drinks, and basics. Inside, the condo was comfortable, with a great bed. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was a big help for beach clothes and towels, and made the trip feel simple and stress-free. The staff were wonderful, and the grounds were beautiful and well kept. We liked unwinding by the pool after being out in the sun. It's clean and comfortable, though it isn't the fanciest place around. We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back. Highly recommend!

We usually spend one or two months here, and over the past 20 years we've stayed in studios as well as one, two, and three-bedroom units. Of the WorldMark properties, this Kihei resort is one of the largest, set centrally along Kihei's coast and across from Kamala Beach. The rooms are comfortable and practical, not the sort of luxury accommodation you'd find at a resort in Wailea or Ka'anapali, with plush carpets, sofas, and window coverings that can be costly and difficult to maintain. For us, they're just right as a clean, quiet place to rest and recharge after seeing Maui's attractions. The property gets a lot of visitors, so it's good to see it being maintained and renovated so regularly. We've watched rooms get refreshed over the years, with furnishings replaced and fixtures upgraded. It seems like there's always some revitalization work happening. The common areas are kept up too, and the gas grills have recently been replaced and upgraded. The friendly, efficient staff do a great job. Cleaning and maintenance crews are always moving around, and despite the resort's size and steady stream of guests, they've consistently made it comfortable. The pool and gym are looked after by staff as well. The pool area can be lively, but pool hours keep noise to reasonable times. The gym has basic machines and free weights, plus towels, a water cooler, and TV monitors. There's plenty of parking around the buildings.

The dated furnishings kept this from being a five-star stay. Our one-bedroom unit had updated kitchen cabinets, but the furniture was mismatched, stained, and so uncomfortable it looked like a 1970s yard sale. There wasn't a regular-sized couch, and from the loveseat you couldn't see all of the TV because of how it was mounted. Some pool tables and chairs were broken too. Still, we had a great stay. The staff were wonderful, the beds very comfortable, and the pool and hot tub sit among lush landscaping. The resort is right across from the beach, with many shops and restaurants an easy walk away. If they update the furnishings, it'll earn that extra star.

We visited in September. Our room was clean, and the AC worked well. The pool was refreshing, though the ground gets so hot you can't walk around barefoot. Food trucks showed up later in the day, and there were lots of activities nearby.

This was our fourth stay, and we booked a year ahead for our 50th wedding anniversary and vow renewal, bringing 17 friends and family. We were there Aug 19-Aug 27, 2025, and the resort was an embarrassment in front of our group. The room was dirty, the towels were grey and tattered, and the pool badly needed furniture and repairs. Attention to detail seems to be a thing of the past. It's one of our favorite locations, which makes this especially disappointing as a 23-year member.
