I reported problems to the front office several times after catching people checking whether cars or homes were unlocked and taking packages, but nothing was done. It feels dangerous here, especially at night, and the neighborhood watch signs seem to be for show. The HOA is also extremely picky and quick to threaten fines over even tiny issues. I would not rent here.

We rented here for four nights in December. The neighborhood was clean and quiet, and getting to shopping or restaurants was an easy drive. Public beach access is about a mile away, and Wright Brothers Memorial is right next door. There are permanent residents as well as vacation rentals. The pools and community building were closed during our visit, but this seems like a good family option in summer.

We stayed in Devonshire Place, a quiet neighborhood in a convenient spot. The community is beautiful, and many of the homes look recently built. The kids, ages 1-5, loved the top-notch pool. Bermuda Bay Boulevard takes you straight down to public beach access.

There was nowhere to take our recycling, even though a large recycling center is about half a mile from the complex. We paid a fair amount for a week and I wasn't happy with the setup. Our rental, unit 1108-J, backed onto the football practice field. On a Thursday night, bright white lights poured into the bedroom and patio until around 11 p.m., and loud music with lyrics about "stems and seeds" and "sticky-icky" carried through the summer evening. Bring earplugs and blackout shades, or figure out another way to deal with it. The family pool area was nice, at least.

Our place was roomy, and the garage came in handy. The area felt clean, safe, and quiet, with everything close by. We had a good stay, and the pool was especially good for toddlers.
