Home2 Suites by Hilton Outer Banks Kill Devil Hills

We came to see the Wright Brothers National Monument, and could see it from one of our two balconies. The other balcony faced the ocean, where we could watch the sunrise and sunset. We also liked the beach and things to do around the hotel. This was our first time in the area, and staff were very friendly and helped us find places to eat and things to do. I was told the hotel had recently been refreshed, and it was done really well. We stay at Home2 Suites a lot, and this was the best one we've stayed at. The location couldn't be better. It was a great place, and we're coming back!

The suite felt like a spacious apartment right by the water, and for the price it was a great value. We especially appreciated the free induction cooktop and the Made In pots and pans, which were a nice surprise in a hotel kitchen. Even the hairdryer looked brand new. Everyone we met, from housekeeping to the front desk, was warm and welcoming. We did have a couple of small issues, including a living room TV that didn’t work, but we decided not to move. We’d already been upgraded to a top-floor oceanfront suite and didn’t want to give that up. We had a really enjoyable stay and would come back.

The front desk team was outstanding, and housekeeping was friendly too. We stayed for a few nights and really liked the location, with restaurants and shops nearby and the beach just steps away. It’s a remodeled hotel that only opened at the end of March 2026, so there are still a few things to sort out, as you’d expect with a new place. By summer, I think things should be going very well.

The room was spacious, with tile throughout, and had a balcony facing the ocean. The chairs out there were comfortable, so it was nice to sit and enjoy the view.
